Senior Architectural Designer – Dubai / Abu Dhabi / Vietnam

We are in need of a talented, senior-level Architects with top flight design skills.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all design projects through coordination with assigned staff
- Coordinate requests for design time from project managers, with consideration given to present work load imminence of job request and expected completion date.
- Distribute work evenly and manageably to support staff. Negotiate with project managers in cases of conflicting "priority projects" and completion deadlines.
- Assume responsibility for the correct and timely completion of all work done by team members in accordance with the requirements of the projects.
- Participate in development process for AutoCAD application.
- Participate in all phases of design process, including conceptualizing, space planning, color coordination, finish material selection, visual presentation material preparation, communication and presentation; and construction documents and field coordination, architectural design and space planning and programming skills.
- Notify supervisor on a regular basis of problems relating to staff capability and capacity, detailing, coordination, quality assurance or design intent and develop solutions to these problems.
- Provide the design team with timely decisions on all assigned projects.
- Motivate and mentor team members in an efficient and productive project effort.

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Masters in Architecture.
- Architectural Registration.
- 7+ years of professional architecture experience, (mix-use, commercial, institutional) new construction and rehab/fit-outs.
- AutoCAD expertise.
- Excellent communication skills - written/verbal.
- Hospitality, Casino and Commercial experience preferred.
