Managing Architects – Dubai / Abu Dhabi / Vietnam

Our client a renowned international casino, resort and entertainment design firm, has an immediate opening for the role of Managing Architect in its new offices in Dubai / Abu Dhabi and Vietnam. 

Our client has built its reputation seeing the design and construction process from their clients.  Understood is the critical relationship between forward-thinking iconic architectural design and the aggressive revenue expectations for the completed building.  We design buildings and spaces to attract the repeat customers.  The result is highly revenue producing building for our clients.  This philosophy pervades the entire design making process.

The company offer full Architectural and Interior Design services.

Their Animation and 3d Visualization department is widely considered to be the standard bearer in the industry.  An affiliate of the company is responsible for Lighting and Theatrical design for all Architecture and Interior Design projects.  The integration of these services provides for their clients a fully-integrated, turnkey, design delivery process.

In their more than two decades of practice our client has developed numerous successful revenue-producing designs for the companies that dominate the Casino and Resort industries.  Included in this list are MGM, Harrah’s, Caesars, Venetian, Station Casinos, Plaza/El-Ad, and Crown Melco.

Headquartered in Las Vegas, our client currently has additional offices in Atlantic City, Macao, and Zhuhai (PRC).  Due to the extraordinary level of interest in their designs, the firm is pleased to announce new offices this year in Vietnam, Monaco and the United Arab Emirates.  The Vietnam office is currently forming in Ho Chi Minh City.  In 2009 it will transition to Ho Tram, Ba Ria, 120 kilometers east of Ho Chi Min City on the site of a multi-project, multi-billion dollar oceanfront resort strip.

Qualifications:

- The successful candidate will be a highly motivated licensed architect that is either currently living in the Vietnam or has extensive recent experience in the area. 
- He or she will have insight and sensitivity to the business culture of the region and its building practices
- 8+ years relevant post-graduate experience
- Fluent in English, written and oral
- Fluent in Vietnamese, written and oral (For the Vietnamese office) would be highly advantageous
- Proven team leader and mentor
- Design oriented
- Detail oriented
- Primary client contact
- Ability to market design services
