Project Managers (Singapore) – international PM company

Our client requires PMs to work on different parts of a large scale hotel/casino project in Singapore including theatre fit out, kitchens and sinage, casino fit out and podium.
Responsibilities:

- Reports to SPM as identified on the team organization chart.
- Responsible for daily contract monitoring, reporting and implementing directives from SPM.
- The PM (Fit-Out) is responsible for (including but not limited to) the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Report to and take direction from the SPM.
- Implementing of all directives from SPM and assisting the team as necessary. (refer to team organization chart for reporting / communication lines)
- Hold regular meetings to coordinate and direct Area / Site Supervisors and / or Logistics team to make ready and keep maintained the site area for construction in accordance with the approved construction programme and Trade Contract documentation.
- Direct interfacing with Trade Contractors (TC’s) site supervision to ensure timely delivery to meet programme, and quality standards.
- Reviewing and transmitting latest design information to contractors in accordance with project procedures (direct interface with Design team).
- Organise and chair Start-up meetings with TC’s as instructed by SPM.
- Organise and chair weekly progress and coordination meetings with TC’s as instructed by SPM.
- Participate in Contractors and Consultants Value Engineering exercises as instructed by SPM. Monitoring and record TC’s Programme, Lead in and Procurement schedules and histograms.
- Monitoring manage and report TC’s compliance with Health & Safety and Quality and recognize and publicize same.
- Manage, monitor and report progress of off-site Manufacture including factory and site inspections and advise and implement corrective actions.
- Validate TC’s resource levels both on and off site against plan.  Report status and corrective action.
- Identify any impact affecting the Works progress (on and / or off-site) and manage recovery planning with TC’s in association with consultants and / or client project channels. Recommend strategies for recovery planning and management of approved corrective actions.
- Monitor and record achieved progress, labor levels, methodology, and report status, against contract programme /sequence/ durations.
- Monitoring and controlling TC’s Site logistics (working with CM site supervisors & logistics teams).
- Arrange and plan site sign off inspections for closure of areas / elements including those by authorities.
- Logging and monitoring latest drawing and specification releases (direct interface with Design team).
- Logging and monitoring all Shop drawing submittals and approvals (direct interface with Design team)
- Logging and controlling sample submissions and approvals (direct interface with Design team).
- Logging and monitoring all RFI’s from / to TC’s.
- Logging and monitoring all CMI’s to TC’s.
- Issue, in consultation with SPM, any NCR's’ as necessary and monitor timely close out.
- Off site factory inspections to report quality and progress against plan, as directed by SPM.
- Daily monitoring of site progress, quality and safety. Implement TC’s proposals for corrective action and including daily reports and photos.
- Daily Labor counts and report status of planned / required to meet construction programme.
- Controlling and monitoring and checking, all deliveries to site.
- Liaison with TC’s to monitor and coordinate Logistics requirements, locations and movement for all labor, material and plant within the Works area.
-Scheduling site meetings, agendas, and keeping accurate meeting records as directed by SPM.
-Facilitate and coordinate all areas / sectional handovers.
-Liaise & coordinate (as directed) with any other personnel in MBS Project Services and Third parties.
-Assist in management and close out of defects and outstanding works schedules
-Undertake any other duties directed by SPM.
